Dear Region 20 IAWP member,

Happy new year to one and all. I am very happy to communicate after a long time. To those of you who are new members  i would like to say welcome and thanks for choosing IAWP.

It is my pleasure to inform you of the most recent activities that Members in Kenya through KAWP were involved in before the holiday season.

16 DAYS OF ACTIVISM TO PREVENT VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN

KAWP members have been involved in the campaigns to stop Gender Based Violence. In collaboration with the county Governments we launched the sixteen days of activism starting from 25th November - 10th December 2014.

WORLD DISABILITY DAY

Female law enforcers joined the world to mark the world disability day on 3rd of December 2014. It was also a way of honoring the officers who have found themselves handicapped in one way or the other in line of duty.

I hope that this year will be a busy one and that you are going to break the silence and share your experiences as law enforcers from your country.
